WHO AM I?
I'm always looking for the next frontier to explore. I've spent the last twenty years as a career technologist. It has been my good fortune to work in roles that have allowed me to expand my technical skills and master the practical application of technology.
I love helping implement technology and processes that lift businesses to the next level. In addition to my courses, I write extensively on my blog, NatThompson.com, about technology news, tactics, and strategies so that you can stay informed and grow your knowledge as an Information Technology professional.

MY BIOGRAPHY
I have worked in information technology since I graduated college. I began in 1997 as a consultant focused on database development and administration. I worked in that position for three years before moving on to focus exclusively on e-commerce and website development.
Over the next ten years, I added experience in information security, software development methodology, project management, and product management to my portfolio. I learned how to effectively apply technology to solve business needs.
Now, I want to share the knowledge I've acquired to help you, the next cohort of IT pros, grow your skills and make yourselves as valuable as possible in the IT industry.
TEACHING STYLE
I believe that providing you with practical workshops to complement the concepts I provide in my video and course text will dramatically increase the amount of information you absorb and retain. In addition to the course content, you will also be invited to my virtual office hours in the Slack community. This will allow you to interact directly with me and other students of the course when you have questions or need additional information to best master the topics being presented.
